It's now possible to see to the far side of the ravine behind the tree line, where kudzu grows up onto private property. However, that property owner is doing a great job keeping the kudzu out of the very attractive evergreen trees. As seen from behind, the second photograph shows that kudzu-covered foliage at the street corner still needs work. June and September 2005.

The ravine is very steep, with a railroad track bed at the bottom. Intrepid Coalition volunteers removed kudzu to establish a control line, a death-defying feat! Or, depth-defying feet? July 2007.
